Support for young people

Home / How we help / Young people

Whatever you are going through, anxiety, low mood, school worries, OCD, friendships, identity or something you cannot put into words yet, you do not have to deal with it alone.

Drop-in

Thursdays, 4pm to 6pm at Carterton Family Centre. Come along to chat, hang out or talk to someone who gets it. No appointment, no referral, no cost.

1:1 therapy

Weekly or fortnightly sessions with our qualified integrative child and adolescent therapists, using approaches such as CBT and talking therapy, shaped around you. Free, on Mondays.

Everyone welcome

A safe space for LGBTQ+ young people and anyone who feels they do not fit in elsewhere. Come exactly as you are.

How it helps

From school refusal to college

J came to us with severe anxiety and OCD and had stopped going to school. After five months of weekly sessions and a careful plan with his school, he now attends every day, has a group of friends and has applied to college.

Name changed, shared with permission.

How to start

  • Come to a Thursday drop-in
  • Ask a parent, school or GP to get in touch
  • Or message us through our contact form
